1. You must remove your shoes before entering temple. It is common sense to remove your socks along with your shoes. You have find stalls or rack placed outside the temple for keeping your shoes.
2. If you are carrying a leather belt, bag etc, you may have to leave it outside.
3. Wash your hands before entering as it helps keeping you and the temple clean and you would probably get ‘prasad’ inside.
4. It also has a symbolic meaning of making yourself clean of any malice or bad thoughts before entering the God’s abode.
